The Data-driven Computational Design Group conducts research and development in the field of big data and design. This entails multi-modal data acquisition, data structuring for design, multi-scale and multi-domain modelling, as well as AI and ML. Inter- and transdisciplinary research is at the core of the activities and includes collaborations with top-ranked universities, practices and industry. The current focus lies on Architecture and Environment Interaction (AE) with an ongoing international symposia series and the annual AE LABs.
