The Digital Architecture Group conducts research and development of tools, methods and their applications in areas ranging from heritage to future architectural design and planning of the built environment. Researchers from computer science, architecture and archaeology contribute to the interdisciplinary activities with a cross-cultural approach. These interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary activities are conducted in national and international collaborations with partners from cultural institutions, the industry and other research institutions. The current research focus lies on digital heritage, augmented architecture, pedestrian dynamics and kinetic architecture.
