Talk by Halyna Yefimchuk on
Digital fashion as means of intercultural communication: trends, challenges, development, 23 November 2022:
Digital technology allows us to exist outside of reality, and today in the virtual dimension people are as active as in everyday life. However, active virtual communication, training, travel, and commerce require a certain digital image of a person, so virtual clothing plays an important role. Developed in a digital environment, it opens up a wide range of opportunities for the fashion industry, allowing you to design the appearance of the product without the use of material resources and wear it in the metauniverse. The presentation will consider the role of digital fashion in the development of creative industries, fashion marketing and cultural diplomacy as a tool for intercultural dialogue.
