The real-time exploration of very large virtual environments is highly relevant in application areas such as architecture, industry, entertainment, cultural heritage (archeology, exhibitions), tourism and many others. We offer multiple VR setups to explore and interact with very large virtual environments – from real walking through the environments in immersive VR, to using a locomotion device (e.g., Virtualizer) to 3D interaction with hand gestures and navigation using standard controllers. We are able to visualize large 3D scanned point cloud data with millions of points or traditional 3D mesh/CAD data from all standard 3D modellers, in real-time.
