Georg Nawratil is senior scientist at the Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry (TU Wien, Austria) and member of the Center for Geometry and Computational Design (GCD) and the IFToMM Technical Commitee for Computational Kinematics.
He received his degrees (Mag.rer.nat, Dr.techn., Priv.-Doz.) from TU Wien and he was interim professor at the Institute of Geometry (TU Dresden, Germany) in 2012.
His research interests are kinematics, the geometry/design of mechanisms/robots and line-geometry.
