„Tracking” is the precise measurement of an object’s position and orientation in 3D space. Interactive applications (including Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality) often require the precise head/eye position of a user and a hand/controller position for 3D interaction. We have extensive experience with a wide variety of tracking technologies, indoors as well as outdoors, and we develop tracking technologies and applications. This includes experience with their accuracy, usability, pros and cons of mechanical,
magnetic, inertial, optical, time-of-flight (GPS, ultrasonic, WiFi,…) and hybrid solutions. We also have experience with optical and inertial motion capturing.
